5/7 Bloggin

No posts on days that start with "S." Or Christmas. Or New Year's. Or my birthday. Or your birthday. Maybe it would be easier if I just listed days I will be posting.

As the regular readers know, I have another job.  I also have familial responsibilities and house duties (since The Wife refuses to do any real work around the house.  I don’t consider spraying polish on a bracelet as “doing the laundry”).  Since they’re all piling up, I’m afraid I’m going to have to cut out my weekend blogs.

I know, I know, “But Nick, you’re the only one I know that actually posts stuff on the weekend!  My Saturday nights will feel empty and alone without you!”  When I was in high school, many a teenage girl had the same refrain.

But here’s the deal: no one looks at my weekend posts anyway.  My biggest days are on Mondays because, for some reason, you people only look at the internet while you’re at work.

What kind of jobs do you have that allow that?  (my numbers indicate that the most common job of visitors to Sliverltd.com is the Custodian of Records for various porn sites)

So, starting today, I won’t be having any more posts on the weekends.  This will allow me to feel like I’m keeping up with my deadline even though I probably am not.
